KGP’s paparazzi spotted the new Aston Martin DBS in Sweden. Although we were surprised to see that they tested this car near the Arctic Circle, we were more surprised to see that it’s the Volante version. This convertible concept looks even more aggressive and this new soft-top model looks good on Bond’s car. Looks like nobody can escape from spy shooters even if they test their prototypes everywhere over the globe, but we would do without them? Keep up the good work fellows.

The Aston Martin Rapide was unveiled this year at Detroit Auto Show and is scheduled to get into production next year. The prototype was spotted at a gas station and it seems they changed just a little. The door handles and the 10-twin-spoke wheels are the same. We are curious to see if the interior will suffer major adjustments, because we were impressed by the two-bottles of champagne, the drinking glasses and the cigar cutter. We expect them to put these features in an extended package. We can hardly wait for the final version and we hope it will be better than the concept( if that’s possible!).

Aston Martin has released at Frankfurt Motor Show a car that gets in the top of it’s lineup, the DBS. Being powered by a 6.0 liter V12 engine that boosts 510hp, it reaches 0 to 62mph in just 4.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 191mph.

New technologies and materials have been used in it’s construction, to make it more powerful, safer and more lightweight. It uses ceramic brakes and it’s 20 inch alloys keep it very close to the ground even at very high speeds, so it can offer a great sensation to the driver.

Everything has been ok until now, but, unfortunately, the price is a bit spicy, at £160,000 and will make a lot of people sad as they might not afford it.

It’s the era of computer technology and computer hardware is becoming a part of almost every house. One of the most essential hardware is printer. In our life printers are getting a necessity. Different type and style of printer stand is also available in markets which becomes helpful to give a good look to the room where printer resides. Quality of printer paper also matters a lot. High quality printers do not accept low quality papers. It can also damage the performance of printers.

Aston Martin has always been interested in all sorts of competitions and project. As proof, the “Project 30.000″, a project that intends to put 30.000 miles on an Aston Martin. What Aston Martin? An Aston Martin V8 Vantage, with few modifications: a slightly raised suspension system, reinforced sump guard and full spare. Still, the the V8 Vantage benefits standardly from numerous passive and active safety systems including dual stage front and side airbags, 3 stage crash structure, ABS, (Anti-lock brakes), DSC (Dynamic Stability Control), Traction Control, EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), EBA (Electronic Brake Assist) and PTC (Positive Torque Control).

This is not the first side project organised by Aston Martin of this type. Last year, an Aston drove around Germany and Central Europe, in a total of the same 30.000 miles. Now however, Asia is the place. The new Asia-Pacific Highway offers as high standards as possible. The drivers will be two British fellows, school teacher Richard Meredith and travel specialist Phil Colley. The entire project is to last six weeks.

Aston Martin, with the “Project 30.000″, intends to raise funds for charity, and at the same time to promote road safety in Asia, allong with the UN. The AH1 portion of the Asian-Pacific highway uses a ferry line running between Fukuoka, Japan and Pusan, South Korea, so the drive will be no piece of cake. Actually, driving and driving for six weeks, through a total of 15 countries, is quite a challenge.

Teacher Richard Meredith (58) and travel specialist Phil Colley (42) are to set off on the 25 th June from the InterContinental Hotel, Tokyo, and six weeks later will be seen arriving in central London. Worldwide press will surelly keep the world informed on this interesting car event.

Aston Martin has changed leadership again, as Ford passed it to an investment group chaired by Dave Richards, the proprietor of Prodrive. However, not a chance that the British producer has laid low, for production is unaffected and ideas are booming for Aston Martin, and the Vantage Roadster is solid proof.

Respecting the elegant, stylish architecture line of other Aston Martin supercars, the DB9 and Vanquish, the Vantage Roadster still is embossed with it’s unique personality. It has, mostly, the same dimension and powertrain as the V8 Vantage Coupe, but it is softop, and has front and rear shear panels under the car, and stiffened doorsills and crossbeams, to compensate the loss of structural integrity from the removal of the hardtop.

When you talk about an Aston Martin, you talk about perfect balance between sheer force and elegance, in a pure British style. The engine of the Vantage Roadster is a 302-lb-ft V8, with 380 hp and 4.3 liter. Impressive. But the Vantage Roadster does need it, as it has 3770 lb curb weight, and requires 15,500 lb-ft of torque to twist the body one degree, while the DB9 requires only 11,400 lb-ft. Transmission is six-speed manual, pretty much standard for a Roadster. At test, the Vantage Roadster felt as if it had a supercharger, 75% of the engine’s total torque was available at 1500 rpm. It reached 60 mph in 4.9 sec. And despite all these performances, fuel mileage is 19 mpg, EPA combined !

So what can more ought to be said about this Aston Martin? Maybe some setback, or else it would be the perfect car… the Vantage Roadster will cost the buyer $126,000, base price. Sales have still been good, for such an expensive supercar, from it’s debut on the market last summer.

Aston Martin Rapide is a four door car, initiated under Ford ownership and will be available since 2008. It will be released just ahead of Porsche Panamera, it’s biggest rival. The design director from Aston Martin, Marek Reichman, stated that their goal was to build the most beautiful four door car in the world and they almost succeeded. It is really a very nice looking car.

It is powered by a 5.9 liter V12 engine that outputs from 450 to 480 hp, limited to only 4000 rpm. The Aston Martin Rapide is inspired of DB9 and takes less investment and time to complete it, due to this fact.
