Now it’s official, KITT, Knight Rider’s car, is a Ford Shelby GT500KR Mustang. The car will appear in the new series of Knight Rider. The special two-hour movie will have its premiere next year, on 17 February. Until then you can pleasure your eyes with the photo above.
We think that the rumor of a Mustang playing the role of K.I.T.T. in the Knight Rider TV series has been confirmed by photos. It looks like a 550HP Shelby GT500KR painted in black and with silver stripes will play this role. K.I.T.T.’s running red light bar will now be located in the Shelby’s hood.
