And that’s one dream come true, the 2008 Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe is in production.The Lady of Ecstasy ornament on the front is guiding the way of this God of all cars, and the picture below says it all…Â

This is a vehicle proud of the name Rolls Royce, and also with a convertible-friendly design. All around the car there seems to be an aura, the Phantom Drophead Coupe has a shorter wheelbase than any other Phantom models, is also bigger and meaner. Still, this Rolls Royce is as agile as a Ferrari, and just as powerful. All this with no harm done to the British personality of the car.

Under the steel hood of the Drophead Coupe is a V12 6.75-liter engine of 453 hp at 5350 rpm. This is a 2.5-ton car, and still is goes from o to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds and has 75 percent of its power available at only 1000 rpm. Perfect stats for a perfect car…Â

The 2008 Rolls Royce Drophead convertible will be made in few numbers, going out in July, price starts at around $412,000. If you add other features, it goes up to around $500,000. Sounds incredible, but this car is one fit for a king!
